Black Bear Rescue Manitoba - Our Purpose
- To rescue, rehabiliate and release orphaned black bear cubs in Manitoba
- To provide quality care that avoids habituation to humans and respects each bear's need for a safe, healthy, species-appropriate environment while at our Centre
- To release black bears back into the wild in a condition that gives them the best possible chance for survival
- To educate the public about avoiding human-bear conflict and to develop a greater respect for bears in their natural environment
- To work within the established rules and regulations set out by Manitoba Sustainable Development, Wildlife Branch
